Golden Chai

Based on Soothsayer’s popular Masala Chai, this blend features anti-inflammatory turmeric as the star of the show. Organic and Fair Trade Indian black tea + seven herbs and spices combine with colorful turmeric root, powerful turmeric powder, and sweet licorice root. A hefty dose of cracked black pepper makes turmeric’s curcumin content even more usable to the body. Spicy, earthy, and complex, with a lingering sweetness.

Ingredients: Assam tea*+, cinnamon*, ginger, cardamom, black pepper, cloves*, fennel seed, fenugreek, turmeric root, licorice root, turmeric powder        *Organic     +Fair Trade

Brewing: Use 1-3 heaping teaspoon of tea per 1 Cup (8 oz) of near-boiling water (200*F). Steep 3-6 minutes, strain, and enjoy. Adjust to your preference, but remember - if you want stronger tea, add more tea! Longer steeping times lead to harsher flavors.
